Tonight our dear prophet Gordon B. Hinckley passed away. He is reunited with his dear wife Marjorie (pictured below) whom he has missed since her passing almost 4 years ago. This was the first prophet my kids and husband knew and we will miss his loving leadership and gentle (but quick) humor. We are so grateful for Prophets. What a blessing the Gospel is in our lives!

I just barely saw this as well. It took me by surprise, but I knew it would be some day soon. I loved President Hinckley! My connection with him is that our birthdays were on the same day, June 23rd.
I especially loved that he was always keeping abreast of the current problems the youth were facing, and addressing them.
He will be greatly missed, but I can only imagine the high 5's He's getting on the otherside. Not to mention the big sweet hug from his darling wife. I personally will miss his sense of humor - I loved how he could always get in a little joke no matter what the topic was!
