Measure once, Measure...nope once is good...

Every once in awhile I realize that the way I approach things in life would drive my dad absoutely batty. We have recieved our new picture of our famiy and I had the perfect empty wall to put it up on.

If I had been doing this with my dad, we would have had a measuring tape, pencil, hammer, hook and nail, and level. Mike and I op'ed for the hook and nail with hammer.

With my dad we would have measured meticulously to make sure we were putting the picture exactly middle of the wall. Then we would have measured up the wall to make sure it was up high enough, even if it was the only picture on the wall. I am not sure what the level would have been for, but I am sure he would have used it. Mike, well, it wasn't a very big wall, so I stepped back and made sure he was in the midde and then he used his nose as center.

Here he is saying, that wasn't hard now was it...

Three minutes later, it is up and done. No sweat. Now really, when I put up some other pictures next to it, I would measure and make sure that they were really up high enough and even. I was just laughing at how our measuring system varies SLIGHTLY from my fathers. Love you Dad!

Annette, Gallery Photography up in Bountiful Utah took them for us. We were in Utah for a reunion and had him take pictures of all our family for us. He was awesome. Katie recommended him. There is a link on the side under the pictures for him if you are ever there and need some pictures.

And Katie, thank you, thank you for recommending him. He was fantastic. And thanks again for bringing the picture back. If I ever need a recommendation for anything beautiful, I know I can go to you! :)
